Margaret Rose Portrait Painter, Fine Artist and Figure Painter
I am fascinated by the human face and now specialise in contemporary portrait work.
A portrait painting aims to capture the essential spirit and personality of the client making a unique personal record. I use strong colour in a portrait to model features working in oils, pastels, acrylic or mixed media. I look for and enhance the variety of colour that I observe in flesh tones and this approach gives a vitality to the finished portrait to be enjoyed for years to come.
